The coastline south from Bangkok offers beach resorts, local towns and villages, small offshore islands.
Farmland and fruit plantations, national parks, remote beaches, caves and waterfalls. This is a very relaxing area
of Thailand where the climate is fine and the days are as full of excitement or simple tranquility. Many of the areas South
of Hua Hin are far from the well beaten tourist trails, yet offer pleasant accommodation and easy access
to transport. The rail line travels south all the way south to Malaysia. There is a Daily overnight rail sleeper service
direct from Hua Hin to Butterworth(Penang).
